So, the drama surrounding former President Donald Trump just keeps on coming, doesn’t it? The man who never seems to stay out of the headlines is now trying to delay his trial in a hush money case because, well, why not? I mean, who wouldn’t want to postpone facing the music for allegedly paying off a porn star and a Playboy model to keep quiet about their alleged affairs with him?
But alas, Judge Victor Marrero was having none of it. He shut down Trump’s plea for immunity faster than you can say “covfefe.” Marrero made it clear that Trump’s claim of being above the law was about as believable as his hair being all natural.
